I don’t think I can ever express to this woman what she has done for me. She has inspired, pushed, supported and challenged me in ways that I could never have imagined.
She is now a friend, not just my trainer. Her session was full of high fives and a ton of laughter. My only regret is I did not take advantage of our time together and make her do burpees in between clothing changes.
Ah, next time for sure.

Yes, she is a Mrs. A wife, mother, daughter, professional. All of those things and more.
Mrs G wanted beautiful portraits for her husband.
We got some seriously beautiful shots of her; some of them quite frankly way too hot to put on this blog.
Thank you to Yolanda Fernandez Grant who highlighted her stunning eyes so beautifully.
Kudos to Mrs G for loving her husband enough to want to show him a side of her that he doesn’t see on a day to day basis.
I think you look positively amazing. Thank you for spending a lovely Sunday afternoon with us.

Just Jump

I am so crazy proud of my most recent clients. Each and every one of them have told me that they were “jumping” into their photo session experiences with both feet. They each felt that this was completely out of their comfort zone but they did not care.
That attitude lent itself to the most amazing images of some of the most extraordinary women I have ever met.
This is a sneak of a lovely friend who completely rocked out her session on Friday.
Megan, thank you for jumping. Great things coming.

There is definitely an equation involved. I would love to keep my science brain out of my photography world most days but it occurred to me this morning that math governs this too.
Equal parts of great light, amazing makeup and styling and the client’s willingness to break out of her comfort zone equals beautiful imagery.

Thank you to all of you who expressed an interest in the special May 11 sessions.
We are officially booked for that day but certainly are available for other dates. Our sessions are personal and tailored to each client.
As summer approaches, sessions will be scheduled in early morning or mid-late afternoon and although weekends are prime time, we have availability during the week.

The special seaside photosessions for Friday, May 11 are finally planned.
I will have two spots that afternoon for sessions at a “secret” and fabulous location on Nantucket Island.
Sessions will include makeup, styling and photography and a DVD of ten images.
The photosessions that day will be more abbreviated than our standard session; however the personal attention will remain the same.

Mandi and Angel

Mandi found Angel on a highway in Rhode Island. Maybe Angel found Mandi?
In either case, it was love at first sight and Angel, now 12, has been Mandi’s best girl.
Mandi responded to my model call back in January.
I was certain she and Angel would enjoy their photosession; however, I was not prepared for how much I would enjoy meeting and befriending both of them!
They share a special bond as you can see here and they are both divas in all the best ways.

Seaside cheeky

How lucky I feel on days like today. Empty boat slips with ducks swimming in and out of each slip as if they are the rightful owners. Bright sun, blooming flowers and oodles of opportunity for photographs.
Took advantage of this beautiful afternoon to get some ideas for some special “beauty by the sea” shoots this summer. Gorgeous lingerie is, of course, always in style; particularly set against the gorgeous backdrop of our sea and sky.

Am very excited about our upcoming special portrait sessions for women on May 11. And yes, it is most definitely planned to be “seaside” at a very special location. I know I had promised info earlier this Spring but got sidetracked and neglected to keep everyone up to date.
