I am archiving some photos from last week’s event at our MSPCA here on Nantucket, and have had some time to absorb all the fun and greatness that was that evening.
I laughed through most of the runway show, making it very difficult to steady a camera! In fact, I am surprised truly that any of the photos were sharp as I was so overwhelmed and felt the need to clap continuously for these amazing animals and their proud parents.
To live your life with animals is truly a gift. Those that participated in this event most clearly recognized this. Look at the faces of the folk that were around Coco, the yellow lab dressed as a S’more! Now that is emotion I can relate to.
I am truly honored to have been part of this incredible event to support Nantucket’s homeless animals.
There were two pets in this runway fashion show that are veteran clients of Charlotte Carey Photography. Look at the beautiful greyhound, Carly with her forever Mom Miss Betsey, and Teddy, her Mom’s boy. I may be a bit eager but I believe Teddy recognized me as he ended his runway gig… as you can see below! Look at that face….I could not stop laughing.
I am still debating who had the best time at this event…us, or these wonderful, beautiful and faithful animals.
