Just returned from Unleashed, an incredible pet photography workshop,  hosted at Barbara Breitsameter’s gorgeous studio in Chicago, Illinois.

16 pet photographers from around the US; treats and squeaky toys galore.

My mind is still swimming with all of the inspiration, education and amazing shared laughter. Bev Hollis,  Teresa Berg and Barbara Breitsameter are incredible photographers and each of these women love and respect animals as well as the business and art of photography. Here are some images from last weekend. Wish I could spend many weekends with you ladies and my fellow attendees…what an incredible experience.

 Future Unleashed workshops will be held in 2010 in Dallas and the DC area. If you are a pet photographer or want to explore being such, this is the workshop for you.

October 1, 2009 - 3:22 pm Jeanne - What great shots, Maria! I especially love the one of the shitzu(?)in the guy's arm - what a great expression! And you captured the texture and color of the last dog's fur beautifully! Wish I could have been at the workshop, but plan to go to the one in DC!
